United Methodist Men's Day 40th Annual Pancake Breakfast
will be held on August 4, 2007 - 7:00am until noon. The
cost is $5.00 a person.
High
School and college students can use www.number2.com,
which is a website that provides test preparation for
the SAT, ACT, or GRE. The SAT section offers practice in
grammar, reading, vocabulary builder, data analysis,
arithmetic, algebra, geometry and essay writing. This
site is free, and questions should be directed to Frank
Harp.
Church
driver for July is Horace Winborn
Lennon-Seney's Girl Scout troop will be held the
second Saturday of each month at 12:30pm. For more

JustLead
is now accepting applications for youth age 6-17 years
for the fall program. If interested please contact
Cedric Jackson.
Focus
on Men's Health, will be on July 14, 2007 @ 9:00am.
Health seminar for men will focus on information
regarding heart, blood pressure, stroke, and spiritual
health. All men are encouraged to attend. For more
information, see Debra Winston.
Austin-East
Class of 1972 is planning its 35th class reunion and is
experiencing difficulty locating classmates. A class
meeting will take place on 7/14/07, 4pm, at the Literacy
Center.
Vacation
Bible School 2007 was a success. A special Thank You to
Rochelle, Vicki and Brenda for Arts & Crafts, Avis
for Music & Movement, LeRoyce, Linda, and Cedric for
teaching and DeFord, Carol and Analisa for the meals.
All of the children had a great time. Zinia Washington,
Children Ministries.
Children's
Day is Sunday, July 29th (5th Sunday). We would like to
rehearse with all children under the age of 12 for 10
minutes following morning service during the month of
July. All children will participate in the service on
Children's Day. Please contact Zinia Washington or Avis
Gary for more information.
